We operate on shifts, i.e. the morning shift is 9am to 4pm, and the afternoon shift is 2pm to 9pm. Our Roster is structured so that there is no overtime, but should this be required the staff member is required to work overtime, with compensation as per Labour Law requirements – either payment of overtime or if the staff member has worked a shift that she was rostered to be off, a day off will be given back in compensation – usually paired with another scheduled day off so that the staff member benefits from having worked;   Educational requirements: Matric basic mathematical & currency conversion abilities; basic computer literacy; at LEAST 3 years’ experience in a retail environment – preferably in the luxury/leather goods sector   Further requirements are: Impeccable presentation\grooming skills; Excellent oral, verbal & written communication skills; Self-confidence and a team player; Access to own transport; Bi-lingualism (English\foreign language) is a definite plus, with emphasis on languages such as Chinese, German, French, Spanish, Russian as an example; Must be able to work weekends (our roster schedules every 3rd weekend off, as well as a further 4-5\6 days off per month); Must be available for extended Xmas trading hours during the month of December, as well as any other periods of necessity. Pastel evolution accounting package is utilised at all of our stores, and a basic knowledge of how email functions is also necessary.
